Charlton Glassworks is a family owned
and operated glass studio located North of Seattle, Washington. With a combined history of almost a century
within the glass industry, this Mother and Son's team continues to evolve the art of fusing hand-cut metals
between layers of glass. The recent expansion into metal works has allowed the family to further push the element of
design and functionality of their art.

Sandie Charlton, founded Charlton Glassworks in 1998 as an outlet for her creative impulse. Today
her son, John Moilanen, carries on the family tradition within the Glassworks. With over twenty years of design
influence and worldwide gallery relations, John committs to the same level of customer service and design origination as held
in past years. Charlton Glassworks was founded as an initial marketing and sales venture throughout local craft
festivals. Although a continued presence within a few local craft festivals, Charlton Glassworks has shifted the
marketing focus towards international wholesale shows across the Nation. The relationships gained and honored throughout
the years is one of the most rewarding aspect of producing art-glass. In an effort to honor the collector of Charlton
Glassworks, we strive to bring forth new designs and concepts not yet seen within the art-glass community.
